Some days you come up with ideas that you just can't stop. Today was one of those days. But, it all started about five days ago. A friend mentioned that he can get articles (of reasonable quality) for $5.00 each, with 500 words. That's a penny a-piece for those of you who don't do math.
I slumped slowly out of my chair, trying to reaffix my teeth. Can you imagine living on $5.00 an article and writing enough of those to survive in this economy. I paid $5.87 for a gallon of milk last night to feed my kids.
I said, "Okay, you're telling me that someone out there in the wild blue cyber-yonder sells you the WHOLE rights to an article and you put your name on it for $5.00 with 500 quality words, written about a topic they had to research, or at least have some experience in, to write?"
After I got my teeth all shoved back in my mouth (I think I've got a molar where my eye tooth is supposed to be, cuz, my friend, I can't SEE this), I considered the cosmic effects of people writing for a penny a word.
Do these people not understand economics? Have they NOT read Jeff Herring's FORCEFULL "message" about having the responsibility to MAKE A PROFIT from your message? Quality counts, at least in so much as the content, subject matter and purpose of your writing.
There's a better way to make a profit from writing. White Papers - Quality Research Modules sell well, with high quality content and viable resource references - and anyone can write them on any topic.
