How to write & market articles for more traffic, prospects, publicity & profit

Not exactly sure what to blog here, but I was reflecting on this quote today and thought I'd share it.

Growing In Christ

Learning to say "Yes" to the
whisper of God in my everyday world.

Much easier to write than live... but the struggle to live it surely should hold a high value our lives.

I think my reply would be (without an intention of getting into an extended discussion)...

I believe part of the "listening" process includes paying attention to "senses" that we should do something, say or not say something (an inner "caution"), or act in a certain way. And, I believe the conscience also plays a part.

So...

In short, I believe it is possible to at least some degree and I believe a lot of Christ followers do make daily choices to follow God's lead in a variety of areas because they "sense" that is the way to go.

*An impulse seems like something Jesus would do and the person decides to "give it a try" and do it.

*A caution takes place on the inside which takes place after reading, meditating on, and trying to apply some truth in the Bible... and that caution is paid attention to.

*You sense that you should pray something particular for someone and later discover a need they had that "matched" your prayer...

*And sometimes I wonder if that "sense" doesn't help in writing. In response to wondering what to write, you ask the Lord to help touch the lives of people in some positive manner, you write, and sitting down you thank the Lord for His working in the writing process. I may not know *how* He works, but I give thanks because I believe he *did* in work some way.

*Etc., Etc.

So, that's my two sense.

In short, I believe it's an on-going process involved in walking with God and trying the best we can to follow His lead throughout our days.

Okay, done with that! On to other things.

The best to you in all things,

Lee

Hi Lee,

Learning to say "yes" to the whisper of God in our everyday world is impossible for most, difficult for some, and hard for a few. That's a general comment that most people would like to think they could do. But in reality, few do it. Daily distractions, pressures, and inner struggles scream at us, compelling us to focus on them. How many people do you know who are disciplined enough to take control of their lives and spend time talking with God and listening for His response?

I like your tag line "The whisper of God in everyday life." Gotta keep my ears open for that. Sometimes it calls for being still, doesn't it.
