Hi Cynthia,
My thoughts for what they may give: helping you to jump, perhaps: go ahead and do the challenge.
Whatever you write is probably going to be much more than if you didn't do the challenge.

Last year, I was one of Jeff's new mentees. I wrote lots and lots of stuff, which I didn't get published. I can complete them over time and get them on ezinearticles. It wasn't until the fall that I started my blog and published there. And it wasn't until early April that I submitted my first article to ezine- articles.com. dragging my feet didn't help me in the least. Nike's suggestion/prompt: Just Do It!

Hope that helps, and do join the challenge.

Everything except heavy metal. I really like old jazz and blues. But I can't stop there. I have a very eclectic collection of music that includes country, pop, classical, Latin, even some rap and hip-hop!
Favorite TV Shows:

I've been in the graphic design and marketing business for more than 20 years and what I enjoy is creating.

Writing, like graphic design, is a very creative activity, no matter what you are writing about. It takes a special and creative character to even think about writing. The people who have joined this network have such character.

I've launched a network for creative characters called Creative Critique to provide a place for the discussion of creativity, including design and just about anything that can be improved through a creative viewpoint. Come join me.

I just had to copy such a great idea!

My thanks to Jeff for always sharing with his mentees all the great things he finds! And Ning.com is a great idea. Such a great idea, in fact, I had to start my own network.

Since I'm in the design business, I started a network for sharing information about what makes good design good and what makes it bad. Members can submit anything from a Website to logos or marketing materials or even products and then participate in reviewing what makes it work, or not. In fact, we often learn more… Continue
