How to write & market articles for more traffic, prospects, publicity & profit

Article Guy bloggers can use this new widget to get Free Traffic to your site.

This is the most valuable WEB 2.0 widget I've come across! It's a NO B.S. way to get quality targeted traffic, real interested readers, for no cost.

If you have a blog anywhere or social network like Ning or Yahoo MASH, this widget will get you FREE RECIPROCAL TRAFFIC from RELEVANT blogs.

See my Ning site as an example:
www.Linkedin-Entrepreneurs.com

Look for the Blog Rush widget in the top of the right column. In the same way Adsense works it reads your page content and displays links to relevant blog topics from other blogs who use the widget. You can paste the javascript code into a text box (on your main page, or in the left column, or even within a GROUP). If you want detailed instructions for how to do that, just reply!

John Reese, the creator of Blog Rush is a personal mentor of mine, and one of the top 5 most successful internet marketers in the history of the web!
(so I expect this widget will be a HUGE SUCCESS).

Best wishes for Success with your site. If you have any questions about some of the features on my own Ning, just ask!

Well so far this traffic exchange widget looks amazing, but I will let everyone know my traffic stats after a week and after a month so you can see the end result and not just overhyped predictions.

There's always some factors we haven't figured on that reduce effectiveness (rarely do these gremlins seem to INCREASE effectiveness). But with claims of 10x or 100x traffic it's hard to pass up.

I'm not one to fall for hype. The theory is very solid. I wouldn't have posted this original thing in my fave Ning(s) except that I believe it will work. And I really like the RELEVANCY aspect. This means the traffic is very highly qualified. Doesn't get better than clicking your actual blog post title!

That said... if it doesn't, it's only a 5 minute investment that costs you nothing....
and IF IT DOES, you will be glad you jumped on it A.S.A.P. because it's the initial traffic rush of people copying YOUR widget that creates the potentially exponential growth, and that will taper off over time. So I'd say install it, email your list of friends to tell them to checkout your blog and click your BlogRush widget to get one of their own, then cross your fingers, manifest your powerful intentions, pray, or whatever it is you like to do!

To OUR mutual success!

p.s. if it works like we believe, thank ME!

...and if it doesn't, blame it on John Reese the internet marketing mega guru who created it. I think his ego is getting a bit too big anyway!

I received your notice and others about blogrush. My blog is brand new, and has few readers so far. I guess it won't hurt, and I'll give it a try. And let you know the results.
Thanks!

yep, it's taking off like crazy,

funny thing is so many of people recent blog posts are about "blogrush" so the widget is filled with these links.
i'm sure that will die down.

the key is to write provocative blog titles under 40 characters long so they get attention in the widget.

They do seem overwhelmed, with some delay in getting up help and FAQs. But I tried it and will post my results.
Thanks.

A word of advice (and thanks for posting this). To anyone who uses a Wordpress blog: if you're using a free Wordpress.com blog, you can't insert this widget because they don't allow javascript on their servers or any type of third-party promotional thing. To use this widget in a Wordpress blog, you must already own your own domain name, then go to Wordpress.org (not .com), download the Wordpress.org script, go to your domain host's website, create a database and install it. Whew! Sounds like a pain, huh? Well, I decided to just insert it into my blogger.com blog and voila! Worked like a charm without the huge hassle. Blogger.com (owned by Google) allows Javascript to be copied and pasted as well as Adsense ads (of course). Wordpress.com allows neither, unless you do the Wordpress.org setup.

Thanks, Carmen.
I recently heard a speaker say that if we use a blog for business, we would be well-advised to buy our own domain and create our own site rather than use a free service like blogger or the free Wordpress. Just another project on my list.
What have you heard?

Well, I think having your own domain is always a good choice, because you have total control of what you can publish to it, unless you get a free one, which I wouldn't advise because they usually stick a bunch of banner ads on it and also file sizes are limited sometimes. There's really nothing wrong with using a free blog, as long as you don't run into a lot of restrictions, as on the free Wordpress blog. I'm sure there are other blogs like blogger.com, where you can post ads, javascript, etc... What I really think is that a blog is a good way to drive traffic back to your website, which is probably the best use of a blog.

why not start a Ning site rather than just a blog?

many advantages, just look at this site, it's a great example of a successful Ning site.

and yes, like Carmen says, get your own domain.
it's 20$/mo here but then all the links that get built along the way are an investment.

you can just forward a domain to point to your ning if you want (free), but I would (and do) pay the $20.

Excellent point about Ning, since it is a social network. The web hosting company I use costs $60.00 annually and another $9.95 per year to register your domain name. Seventy bucks for an entire year is pretty darned cheap, and they have excellent customer service. But, you do have to know how to use an HTML editor like FrontPage or Dreamweaver. A smart thing to do also is get a free web hosting account and as Victory mentioned, just point it to your Ning site. That only costs registering the domain name with the company I use.

Hope this isn't too much information Kathy.
