How to write & market articles for more traffic, prospects, publicity & profit

HI everyone,

I was inspired by Connie Green's achievement of writing 100 articles in 78 days. I've set a goal for myself to have 100 articles on ezinearticles.com by August 31. Anyone care to join me in a friendly challenge? I've only got 4 articles up so far, so you are probably ahead of me anyway!

Hi,

Honestly, I most likely will not join the challenge, but I would add that the idea itself is, well, challenging and encouraging.

Simply wondering how it could take place produces some good thoughts...

"I could possibly get some ideas from this resource: that's an idea."
"Someone mentioned only 350 words for an article: that's a good thought."
"Could I produce a set that could get 'double time' by using for class and to post?"
Etc.

In short... thanks for challenge.
Inspiring.

Hi To All;
I decided to join the 100 Article Challenge because I want to begin to write articles. I get paralyzed in my head and end up not writing anything. I have gotten good feedback on what I write but the only problem is that I take so long to write anything down.
I am looking forward to this project to get me passed this block that I have about writing.

And Sherrie; I too am a recovering social worker, now coach.

Hi Susan,

Welcome to the challenge! I'm already behind, having set aside time today to write and ended up dealing with a flat tire.

To everyone on the challenge, let us know when you get an article posted! Let's keep track!

Hi,

This may be my ONLY one, but I pushed it and got an article out just now. I have not posted on the articles site yet (I wish they'd make it easier: I always have to reformat from when I publish in my ezine).

However...

I got one out!

Hurray for Lee! I got one out yesterday as well - my first since issuing the challenge. Congratulations, Lee!

Here's a "high five" back. Many more to come we hope!

Hi Sherrie,

I am inspired by the challenge as well and have written a total of 9 articles that are sitting in my 'article' folder but I don't know what to do with them. I find that some days I can write and others I am completely stuck!

Perhaps someone can advise me how to get my articles moving to somewhere? I would like some to go to magazines and others to ezines.

I want these articles to promote my business so need some friendly advice. I have only begun listening to Jeff's teleclasses as I am new. I have been quite inspired by his talks. I heard Connie one of the calls and thought 'wow I can do this' and more or less have been doing so.

I am also so happy that you are starting this group here. The whole concept is quite thrilling!

Thank you,

Tammy

Hi Tammy,

I highly recommend Jeff's class - lots of focused information that I have found useful. Things I wouldn't have thought of by myself. In fact, after I took it I went back and edited the articles I had on ezinearticles.com to fit his recommendations.

Don't know anything about submitting to magazines, but maybe someone else can contribute some ideas on that.

Tammy,

Naturally, I'd keep listening to Jeff's calls, reading emails, and checking out previous articles he has written and any advice he gives along the way.

In addition, I would also highly recommend a resource I purchased a while back entitled Turn Words Into Traffic by Jim Edwards. It's a super resource covering everything from a to z about publishing articles. In fact, I keep one simple two page section on my desk all the time to review and challenge me to write better.

I'm not sure if you can edit these posts or not, but maybe I'll try to dig up some more resources at some future point in time. Oh, and I would check out EzineArticles.com as well. I'm assuming you've been there.

Enjoy the day,

Lee

Hi... okay: went the next step and submitted to Ezine Articles.
One down.

On with the rest of my day. Since this one is part one, I'll be
trying to get part two out sometime in the next few weeks.

Congratulations again, Lee! Writing it is the first part - getting it posted somewhere is the step that gives someone the opportunity to notice it. We are moving right along!

Okay...

One more article created.
Need to post it somewhere, but it's done.

That's two more than a week or so ago.

Thanks again for the challenge!
